For a shelf system, this stereo is GREAT! I'd love it more if it had an equalizer or at least more bass, and if I could turn it up louder than "30" but like I said- it's GREAT for a shelf system and I definitely am getting more out of this stereo for the amount I paid. Definitely worth every penny and a great alternative when you can't afford your own full blown stereo! I purchased 2 other shelf systems and returned them because I just wasn't pleased with them at all and once I found this one, I knew I was getting something good. Glad I did!
